Courtney and Kryan
Courtney was a gorgeous bride who contacted me after she saw my work featured on a local wedding blog. She was inspired by Lara and Eric’s wedding flowers and wanted a similar organic look but with a more classic color scheme for their church wedding. Trying to figure out a way to combine the bright and cheerful reception palette of pink and orange with the more traditional white and green for the ceremony, I hit upon the idea of using sherbet tones of the reception colors in the wedding party and church flowers. I used garden roses, hydrangea and local dahlias in all the arrangements, accented with freesia, poppy pods, mint and scented geranium. Guests danced the night away under a cloud of paper lanterns floating beneath an elegant clear tent.
